Filter Cartridge NT-5 and NT-10 Mesh Filter Cartridge Polyester Gauze
The polyester gauze in two filtration stages, 60µ and 100µ, is held by a white PP frame and removes coarse particles from the water circuit. The mesh filter can be used, for example, with a well pump or in households where dust, sand, or mud particles are more frequent in the water, which can quickly clog fine filters. As a pre-filter, the mesh cartridge removes fine particles before they reach the fine filtration stage. The filter can be washed out under gentle water flow and should be replaced approximately every 6 months for hygienic reasons.
Sediment Filter PPW-5A and PPW-10A Made of Woven Nylon
PPW sediment filters operate similarly to polypropylene fiber filters, but are made of symmetrically wound PP threads. This winding method makes the filter more stable and robust. The PPW-5A and PPW-10A reliably filter fine particles, sediments, dust, sand, rust, algae, and other suspended particles with a fineness of 5µ, 10µ, or 20µ. Sediment filters made of woven nylon are not washable and must be replaced approximately every 6 months according to DIN 1988. To ensure consistent performance of the filter cartridges, the service life should not exceed 8,000 liters, depending on the quality of the incoming water.
Filter Cartridge UDF-5A and UDF-10A 5µ Activated Carbon Granulate
Adsorption filtration at 5µ.
The activated carbon filter cartridge filters ozone, pesticides, rust, lime, chlorine, and reduces the concentration of heavy metals such as lead or copper. Water discoloration, such as in iron-rich water, as well as odor contamination, are reduced. Activated carbon is known for its high efficiency and is also used in industrial filtration systems.
With average water consumption in a 4-person household, the granulated activated carbon cartridge lasts about 9 months before it can no longer absorb the above-mentioned toxins from the water. According to DIN 1988, all cartridges must be replaced every 6 months, as there is a risk of bacterial growth if they are not replaced.
