Possible applications of flat gaskets
The flat gasket is mainly used for sealing backing rings and flanges – but it can also be used for flat sealing of threads.
Here it must be ensured that the insertion depth of the opposite thread is deep enough and that the outer edge of the female thread is suitable for a flat gasket.
