Description
Hunter frost sensor Freeze-Clik
When frost sets in, Freeze-Click® switches off the irrigation to prevent dangerous ice formation.
Accidental watering in freezing conditions is one of the worst things that can happen to a green space. In some areas where temperature fluctuations are unpredictable, freeze irrigation is not only a hazard to the green space, but also potentially dangerous to those walking or driving by. If the Hunter Freeze-Clik sensor is integrated into a system, these dangers are a thing of the past. As soon as freezing temperatures are detected, Freeze-Clik automatically switches off the irrigation system. When temperatures return to an irrigation-friendly level, Freeze-Clik allows the set program to run. Easy to install and simple to use, the Freeze-Clik can also be combined with other weather sensors to ensure efficient watering in all weather conditions.
Main advantages:
- Easy installation with no adjustment required
- System activation through precise temperature measurement at an air temperature of 3° C
- Can be combined with other sensors to improve the overall efficiency of irrigation systems
- Note: Not intended for agricultural applications.
Operating data:
- Height: 5cm, width 11cm
- Switch rated current: 24 VAC, 5 A
- Wiring: Normally break common ground wire between solenoid valves and UL certified controller
