Hunter MP Rotator MP800 Series
Multiple rotating jets use less water and provide healthier growth in small areas or smaller gardens
The MP800 Series offers all the benefits of the patented MP Rotator design, including slow nozzle rotation, wind resistance, high uniformity, rainfall distribution and a double "pop-up" feature that prevents debris from entering the nozzle. The optimum pressure for the MP Rotator is 2.8 bar. You can easily achieve this by using the MP Rotator with the pressure-controlled Pro-Spray PRS40 at 2.8 bar. To regulate the pressure to 2.1 bar in order to achieve the shortest throw distance, use the pressure-regulated Pro-Spray PRS30.
Uniform precipitation distribution
The differently directed water jets of the MP Rotator reach all areas of the green area to be watered better than with conventional spray nozzles. In order to achieve the highest possible efficiency and uniformity, each jet is aimed at a specific area.
Low precipitation rate
In areas to be irrigated, the majority of the soil has an infiltration rate of less than 25 mm/h. Irrigation with a low precipitation rate is very important here in order to achieve a high level of efficiency.
The standard MP Rotator applies a precipitation rate of 10 mm/h to the area to be irrigated, while the MP800 series applies 20 mm/h.
Automatically regulated uniform precipitation rate
The MP Rotator® has the unique function of controlling the flow rates so that the precipitation rate is always the same, regardless of the set sector and the selected throw distance.
Double riser
The MP Rotator is equipped with its own protection mechanism to ensure that the nozzle is free of debris outside of operating hours. The spring-loaded nozzle is stronger than the spring of the double riser, which holds it in the retracted position when the system is activated. Once the watering cycle is complete, the nozzle is retracted again to remain protected until the next cycle.
