Description
Hunter Wireless Rain-ClikTM rain sensor
The Wireless Rain-ClikTM functions as a switch that interrupts the power supply to the solenoid valves of the irrigation system when it rains. This allows the control valve to continue running as set while the valves do not allow water to flow.
Once the Wireless Rain-ClikTM has dried sufficiently, the switch closes, allowing normal operation to resume.
Most rain sensors must collect a certain amount of precipitation before a switch is activated, which interrupts the irrigation process at the control valve and shuts off the system. Until this point, the system continues to use water unnecessarily. This is especially problematic for environmentally conscious municipal, commercial and residential users. The Hunter Rain-ClikTM and Wireless Rain-ClikTM with integrated Quick-Response technology can initiate a switching process immediately after the onset of precipitation.
