Description
PP Polypropylene Ball Valve 2x Female Thread
Ideal as a drain valve for non-pressurized or low-pressure systems (ponds, pool solar systems, IBC container systems, tanks, canisters, etc.).
Connection:
2x Female Thread
Thread:
BSP pipe thread G, not self-sealing, seal with Teflon tape or similar.
Temperature:
0°C to 60°C, short-term 80°C (medium water)
Ball seal:
HDPE
O-Ring:
NBR
Color:
Black
Application:

Important: The union nut thread on any ball valve or other fitting cannot be combined with threaded fittings and is intended exclusively for fastening the valve. This thread is not standardized and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.
Important: Only loosen the union nut in a non-pressurized state when the valve is closed, otherwise the ball holder will not be fixed.
Tip: A PP polypropylene ball valve offers advantages such as low weight, UV resistance, and suitability for higher temperatures. It is ideal for use under UV exposure or with warmer water, such as in pool solar heating systems in combination with swimming pool or solar hoses.
- Suitable for the transport of drinking water, wine, beverages, and other nourishing liquids
- Completely non-toxic, odorless, and tasteless
- Resistant to inorganic salts in aqueous solutions, weak organic acids and alkalis, alcohol, and partly oils
- Very good mechanical properties against washing chemicals, etc.
- Protects as an electrically insulating material against electrochemical corrosion and perforation caused by stray currents
- Weather and UV resistant
- Material: Polypropylene PPH, PPC, FV-PA
- Temperature range: 0°C to 60°C, short-term 80°C
