RPE/VTN solenoid valve with 24VAC distributor for direct series connection
These special solenoid valves from RPE/VTN are designed so that they can be mounted directly as a manifold unit without additional accessories, Teflon or special tools. They are attached by simply screwing the 1" female threaded union nut with O-ring and the 1" male thread in series by hand. It is possible to connect a large number of solenoid valves in series. However, we recommend installing a maximum of 24 solenoid valves per multiple connection.
In addition, the different solenoid coils from 9 V bistable lachting, 24 VDC and 24 VAC in the normally open (NO) and 24 VDC to the classic 24 VAC solenoid coil in the normally closed (NC) state can be combined with any RPE/VTN solenoid valve. Here, as with manual opening, the ring of the solenoid coil is lifted and turned up to the first resistance and then turned further counterclockwise by slightly overcoming the resistance and the coil is pulled upwards. The new solenoid coil can be fitted or installed by following the same steps in reverse order.
Classic current-connected irrigation controllers are usually operated with 24 VAC NC (alternating current) solenoid valves. Battery-operated control units are operated with 9 V coils. In contrast, 24 VDC DC solenoid valves are often used in smart home systems and individual control cabinets.

Modular solenoid valve VTN with outlet on one side
- Simple connection of several solenoid valves using union fitting with internal O-ring
- Perfectly suited for valve boxes with single outlet (up to 4 in series for size "Standard"; up to 6 in series for size "Jumbo").
- Simply screw the end cap (included in the scope of delivery) onto the last valve to stop the flow. A compressed air connection can theoretically also be fitted at this point
Modular double solenoid valve RPE with outlet on both sides
- Simple connection of several solenoid valves using union fitting with internal O-ring
- Perfectly suited for valve boxes with outlets on both sides (up to 4 double solenoid valves in series for size "Standard"; up to 6 double solenoid valves in series for size "Jumbo").
- Simply screw the end cap (order separately) onto the last valve to stop the flow. A compressed air connection can theoretically also be fitted at this point
