   Description

NDS air/vacuum valve for controlling aeration and ventilation in drip lines

The ABS valve is an important component of a drip irrigation system. It should be used primarily in underground systems in conjunction with valve shafts at the highest point in the drip line.

The valve has a dual function:

  • It vents your system at startup.
  • It prevents a vacuum from forming in the system when it is switched off.
  • Allows trapped air to escape to prevent water hammers
  • Removes trapped air to eliminate blockages
  • Prevents cavitation caused by imploding air bubbles
