Brass Foot Valve with Stainless Steel Suction Strainer, Female Thread
The combination of a check valve and a strainer basket is ideal when suctioning from a tank, groundwater, or flowing water. During operation, the strainer basket provides coarse pre-filtration of dirt particles; when the pump is switched off, the check valve ensures that the liquid remains in the riser pipe.

Note: When suctioning, ensure that the strainer basket cannot slip into existing sediment deposits on the bottom. In case of heavy contamination caused by turbulence, please wait until the dirt particles settle at the bottom – always secure the basket away from the bottom.
Foot Valve with Stainless Steel Suction Strainer Plastic Closure
The cost-effective version of the foot valve has the closure carrier and guide pin made of durable nylon plastic.
The mounting of the strainer basket is part of the closure mechanism and is screwed to the main body without sealing. This allows opening and cleaning in case of coarse contamination.
