Description
Flexible reducing sleeve in metric design
Flexible connections made of natural rubber
Flexible couplings offer numerous advantages, especially when connecting PVC pipelines with non- or poorly bondable materials such as stainless steel, PP, PE, concrete and polyester pipes. Also ideal as a transition from metric to English/American pipe dimensions.
The ideal solution for applications where bonding is not possible or not desired. Suitable for multiple use. Even if the pipe connection is not right-angled or straight, these fittings will adapt.
Elastomer made of natural rubber has a high tensile strength and tear resistance, is extremely flexible and is not subject to ageing ("rubberizing").
- Quick connection without gluing
- Hose clamp quality W4 stainless steel AISI304
- Eliminate stresses in pipes/bends
- easy connection of PVC with PE, PP, stainless steel, cast iron, concrete etc.
- as a connection between pump and pipe system, transmitted vibrations and oscillations are significantly reduced
- Installation possible in frosty conditions
- Easy to dismantle and recyclable
- Simple emergency repair of pipes
- for connecting pipes that are not exactly matched to each other
- Resistant to UV radiation, root growth, sewer gas, bacteria and various chemicals
- suitable for all connections in unpressurized or low-pressure pipes (< 1 bar) such as sewer, sanitary, rainwater drainage, repairs or connections in the pond or solar area
- ideal for system changes, test set-ups or temporary installations
- not to be used for systems under continuous pressure or closed pressurized systems (domestic water systems, sprinkler systems, etc.)
