   Description

KFE ball valve for filling and draining

KFE ball valve 1/2" male thread made of pressed brass, nickel-plated with full bore for filling and draining.
Ball seal and stuffing box made of PTFE (Teflon), red, one-sided wing handle with unscrewable hose nozzle and sealing cap
Can be used for water, fuels, heating oil, etc.

Connection:
External thread, self-sealing
Material:
Brass CW617N nickel-plated (can be used for drinking water pipes)
Thread:
BSP pipe thread ISO 228-1, not self-sealing, sealing with Teflon tape or similar.
Handle:
Painted metal, red
Temperature:
-20°C to 150°C
Working pressure (PN):
max. 16 bar at 20°C medium water

Note: No additional sealing material (hemp, Teflon tape) may be used with self-sealing fittings!
Not to be used with plastic threads - not even with reinforcement ring - as the hard seal can/will burst the plastic internal thread.
