Hunter PRO-C - Modularity means comprehensive customization options from 4 - 16 stations

Since 2001, the Pro-C controller has been the first choice of irrigation installers. The Hunter Pro-C controller has proven to be one of the most reliable and robust controllers in the industry, especially due to the flexibility of the modular concept. However, if expansion is not required, the PCC model with 6 or 12 fixed stations offers the same sophisticated functions in one unit.

By connecting a Solar Sync sensor, the Pro-C control unit is an intelligent water-saving solution. The Solar Sync Sensor calculates the evapotranspiration rate on a daily basis based on the local climate situation and makes the necessary program adjustments. The result is lower water consumption.

Easy RetrieveTM memory

A manual backup utility that stores the complete schedule of a controller and its configuration information in a backup memory. The saved irrigation schedule can be restored at any time. This allows a controller to be reset to its initial settings after a change or at the start of a new season.


Automatic short-circuit protection

Automatic short circuit protection is a feature found in all Hunter controllers with AC power supply. This feature automatically detects electrical faults, usually caused by faulty wiring. Stations with a short circuit are bypassed so that irrigation can continue on stations that are operating without faults. There are no fuses to blow or circuit breakers to trip and completely paralyze irrigation.


Quick CheckTM

The Quick Check function performs a quick diagnosis of wiring problems with valves in the field, which is evaluated at the touch of a button. Quick Check displays the station number and ERR if a short circuit is detected in the field wiring at a particular station number.


Seasonal Adjustment: Global or Automatic Update with Solar Sync

This function enables quick adjustment of irrigation times via a percentage scale. During peak season, the seasonal adjustment is set to 100%, and when weather conditions require less water, the appropriate percentage value (e.g. 50%) can be entered to shorten irrigation times without having to reset all stations in a program individually. Hunter offers two different ways for the Pro-C to use seasonal adjustment to reduce water consumption:

Global: Seasonal adjustment value is sent to all programs on the controller.

Daily (Solar Sync ET Sensors): Supplements the automatic daily adjustment of irrigation run times, adapted to the weather conditions measured on site.


Delay between stations

Users can program a delay between stations as the controller transitions from station to station. Depending on the user settings, the delay can be a few seconds (to allow slow closing valves to turn off) or much longer (to allow pressure tanks to refill).


Sensor programmability

The ability to specify the exact programs that should be switched off when a particular sensor alarm occurs. This allows stations that are not affected by the sensor to continue automatic operation.


Programming irrigation-free days

Weekdays can be programmed in advance, independently of the program schedule, so that no watering takes place. For example, if the lawn is mowed on Saturday, the irrigation can be switched off on this day using the irrigation-free days function so that no irrigation takes place.
