Description
Hunter X-Core Outdoor Irrigation Controller
The "intelligent" choice for home gardens.
The entry-level model for home gardens is easy to use and compatible with the "intelligent" Solar Sync. With easily configurable control for up to 8 stations, including 3 programs with 4 start times each, the X-Core is the perfect solution for residential applications. Simply connect the revolutionary Solar Sync sensor, and the X-Core transforms into an "intelligent" controller that adjusts the watering times according to the locally measured weather data. The X-Core is also compatible with the Hunter remote control, allowing for quick wireless activation of the irrigation system.
Installation, operation, and maintenance are easy, yet provide optimal efficiency and reliability for outdoor use.

Easy RetrieveTM Memory
A utility for manual backup, storing the complete schedule of a controller along with its configuration information in a backup memory. The saved irrigation schedule can be restored at any time. This allows the controller to be reset to its initial settings after a change or at the start of a new season.
Programmable Rain Delay
A custom period in days during which the controller remains off and then automatically resumes irrigation. This prevents watering during a longer period of unfavorable weather and resumes automatically, without the need to manually visit the controller. The controller will display the number of remaining days until irrigation resumes.
Quick CheckTM
The Quick Check function performs a quick diagnostic of wiring problems with field valves, evaluated at the push of a button. Quick Check will display the station number and ERR if a short circuit is detected in the field wiring of a particular station number.
Permanent Memory
This feature provides protection against power fluctuations by storing the current time, date, and program data.
Automatic Short-Circuit Protection
The automatic short-circuit protection is a feature found in all Hunter controllers with AC power supply. This function automatically detects electrical disturbances, usually caused by faulty wiring. Stations with a short circuit are bypassed so that the irrigation of stations without disturbances can continue. There are no fuses to blow or circuit breakers to trip that would shut down the irrigation system completely.
Seasonal Adjustment: Global or Automatic Update with Solar Sync
This feature allows for quick adjustment of watering times over a percentage scale. In the main season, the seasonal adjustment is set to 100%. When weather conditions require less water, the appropriate percentage (e.g., 50%) can be entered to shorten watering times without having to reset each station of a program individually. Hunter offers two options for utilizing seasonal adjustment with the Pro-C to reduce water consumption:
Global: The seasonal adjustment value is transmitted to all programs in the controller.
Daily (Solar Sync ET Sensors): Complements the automatic daily adjustment of watering run times, based on the weather conditions measured on-site.
Delay Between Stations
Users can program a delay between stations while the controller transitions from station to station. Depending on user settings, the delay can be a few seconds (to allow slowly closing valves to shut off) or much longer (to allow pressure tanks to refill).
Sensor Programmability
The ability to specify exactly which programs should be turned off when a particular sensor alarm is triggered. This way, stations unaffected by the sensor can continue automatic operation.
