Technical data
The information applies to water, based on DIN 8074/75
Minimum permissible bending radius as a function of laying temperature
For smaller radii, use compression fittings.
Important: Please note that the pipe is delivered in coils in order to effectively transport larger lengths. It is not necessarily absolutely circular. The pipe is intended as a pressure pipe for drinking and process water.
In contrast to PE80, PE100 has a higher strength, i.e. with the same wall thickness, the PE100 pipe can be operated at a maximum operating pressure of 16 bar. This is achieved by using modern bimodal polyethylene. This quality is categorized as PE100 based on the achieved long-term strength of over 10.0 MPa at 20°C (water) after 50 years.
PE pipe is a hard pipe that is often mistakenly referred to as PE hose because of its external similarity to a hose. The pipe is flexible to a certain extent and can be rolled up like a hose, which is why it is often referred to as PE hose. However, the PE pipe is much stiffer than a hose.
The PE pressure pipe is connected using compression fittings, also known as PE pipe fittings or PE fittings. These PE fittings are made of PP polypropylene, but because they are used with PE pipes, they are also often referred to as PE fittings .

In our range, you will find a wide variety of black polyethylene (PE) pipes for your water supply. In our shop, you can find plastic pipes PE in diameters from 25mm to 63mm, such as the 40mm PE pipe or PE pipe 25mm. For an accurate inch-thread identification, take into account the external and internal diameters of the pipe threads when making your selection. Thus, the 1-inch PE pipe has an external diameter of 33.25 mm and an internal diameter of 30.30 mm.
A special feature of our shop is the wide range of different lengths. We produce the pipe sections specifically for your order and therefore offer you PE pressure pipes in many different lengths between 1m and 100m. That is why our plastic pipes PE are available both as bar stock and as a roll.
