Flexible PVC Hose – Adhesive Hose Poolflex Spaflex
The flexible adhesive hose, also known as a flexible pipe, is an excellent choice for quickly bridging longer distances with bends and curves in your pool installation project in one continuous piece. However, it does not have the same performance characteristics as a rigid PVC pipe.
Important: Unlike most hoses, the outer diameter is decisive for the Flex Hose, as it can only be glued using PVC-U adhesive fittings or connected with PP compression fittings! A connection using hose nozzles is NOT possible!

BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL
PVC flexible adhesive hose, UV-resistant in black (50 mm), ideal for use with black adhesive fittings or compression fittings for Flex Hose.
At high outdoor temperatures or direct sunlight, continuous water circulation is essential to prevent the hose from overheating and collapsing. A black hose heats up significantly faster and higher than other variants.
- Inner and outer surface smooth
- Suitable for temperatures from −10 °C up to max. +45 °C with flowing media
- 3–8 bar maximum pump pressure – *not suitable for closed systems under continuous pressure; cross-linked hoses must be used for these applications
- Can be bonded with standard high-quality PVC-U adhesives – Tangit PLUS is not suitable!
- Ideal for flexible underground installation (in a sand bed)
- Ozone-, UV- and chlorine-resistant; suitable for saltwater pools
- Connection: can be bonded with PVC-U fittings or clamped with PP compression couplings for Flex Hose
The Bending Radius
The bending radius is a recommendation of how tightly the hose can be laid in a semicircle without kinking or being damaged. This maximum reference value is significantly influenced by the temperature of both the environment and the hose itself during installation.
