Technical Information
Free-moving, Rotatable Union Nut
The ball valve has a free-moving, rotatable union nut made of two screwed plastic halves, so the valve does not need to be turned when attaching, and can always be positioned as desired.
BSP 2 Inch Thread Connection
The practical BSP 2-inch thread connection can be connected to any matching threaded fitting, so integration into a subsequent pipe system is not a problem. Ideal for connecting multiple IBC containers in high-quality system constructions.
No Flap - Just a Ball Valve!
The valve closure does not use a flap but a ball, which allows for easier opening, closing, and regulation.

Ball Valve for IBC Container
The ball valve is made from PE and is food-safe according to European Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004. It is suitable for contact with liquid foodstuffs according to EU Regulation No. 10/2011 and EU Regulation No. 1935/2004 for aqueous non-acidic foodstuffs, including drinking water, at all weather conditions and temperatures under 40°C. No UN approval (for hazardous goods transport) is available.
Use tools when changing or a torque multiplier; the tightening torque should be a maximum of 70 Nm.
