Brass threaded pipe nipple 2-fold external thread
The brass threaded pipe nipple is the longer version of a brass double nipple. Because it is made from tube, the threaded tube does not have a hexagon for holding a wrench and has a parallel external thread. The brass threaded pipe is a Whitworthpipe thread and can be connected to any BSP G or Rp, as both variants are parallel threads.
The thread of the brass long nipple can therefore be easily connected to the threads of other fittings such as stainless steel V4A AISI 316 fittings or PVC-U fittings can be combined.
Please note that the thread of the brass long nipple is not self-sealing. Like all BSP threads in sanitary technology, these must be additionally sealed.
