   Description

WatermilTM Dripline Dripline with integrated dripper (emitter)

Durable multi-range dripline without pressure equalization with integrated dripper (emitter) at a distance of approx. 33 cm. The emitter has two holes to ensure the correct amount of water is supplied to the entire irrigation area.
Drip tube for use on flat terrain with a maximum gradient of 3% per 100m.

Maximum section length at:

1.0 bar = 53 meters

2.0 bar = 92 meters

3.0 bar = 113 meters

Connection:
LD-PE pipe (soft) with integrated dripper, distance approx. 33cm
Dripper spacing:
approx. 33cm
Flow rate:
up to 2.0 l/h (depending on water pressure)
Working pressure (PN):
0.5 to max. 3.5 bar Medium: water
Material
LD-PE
color:
Black
Resistance:
UV-resistant, weather-resistant

Note:The supply pipe/drip pipe is a so-called soft PE pipe (LD-PE) and can be easily shaped with the fingers. Pressure points or kinks caused by packaging can be "massaged away" quickly and easily and do not constitute grounds for complaint.

Beaded hose vs. Drip line

SC0100 Vergleich Tropfrohr 1
A beaded hose, made from recycled rubber and polyethylene, is porous along its entire length, allowing the water to be slowly released and the surrounding area to be deeply soaked. The internal dimensions are the same as the irrigation supply pipe (13 mm), so you can use the same fittings and connections that you would use for other types of micro-irrigation systems. This allows you to fully customize a system to your exact requirements. The disadvantage of using a beaded hose is that the water release is not regulated. This causes problems when installing a larger irrigation system or when you need precise irrigation. The reason for this is that the water loses pressure and flow as it passes through the pipe. The further the water flows through the bead hose, the less water can be released until you reach a point where no more water can be released. We normally only recommend using up to 20-30 meters per length and only 50 meters in total per irrigation zone. This can be limiting but does not affect the usefulness of the beaded hose.

Product Overview:
  • Ideal for small areas that require a good soak
  • Length up to 20 - 30m
  • Use of max. 50 meters in a single zone
  • unregulated water delivery
  • pressure reducer must be used
  • should be covered with mulch to prevent drying out in the sun
  • decomposes over a manageable period of time (from 4 years, depending on care)
SC0100 Vergleich Tropfrohr 2
The drip line is the preferred choice for professional installers and a modern method for drip irrigation systems. It is made from the same material as the irrigation supply pipe (LDPE) and has pressure-compensating drip emitters pre-installed every 33 cm along its entire length. The built-in pressure compensating drip emitters allow for precise calculation of flow requirements, resulting in efficient irrigation and easier installation. It is less susceptible to UV damage and algae growth and provides more efficient irrigation than the beaded hose. Designed for use in long runs, you can use a drip line up to 100 meters long and up to 150 meters in a single watering zone. Ideal for watering hedges and large areas. The disadvantage of using a drip line is the higher cost and more complex installation, but the connections are more professional and allow for a more reliable installation.

Product overview:
  • Ideal for long pipe runs and larger areas
  • Lengths of up to 100 meters
  • use a maximum of 70m in a single zone
  • can also be covered with mulch to preserve soil moisture
  • as a version with integrated non-return valves, underground installation is also possible
  • long service life of up to 20 years
