For installation, the downpipe is separated and the rain strainer is placed in the correct position. If you use the rain strainer with a rain barrel with lid, the inlet must not be higher than the top edge of the rain barrel. When using with an IBC container, the inlet should be higher than the IBC container so that it can be completely filled. The IBC container with inlet is vented via the inlet.

Premium version
The set consists of:
- IBC cover in DN 150 and DN 225
- IBC lid including connection piece for sealing connection
- HT DN50 pipe and connection fittings with sealing lips
- Pipe length 1m
Premium version: The set seals completely - no exposed seals that slowly crumble under UV radiation - no hole through which the connection is only pushed. When the IBC is full, the water in the supply line rises to the rainwater strainer and further rainwater flows into the downpipe of your existing rainwater drainage system. The sealing connection to the lid is made via the integrated lid spigot in conjunction with the sealing lip of the connection sleeve.
The IBC cover has a 2 1/2" external thread (75.18 mm) on the underside, to which an additional filter basket (not included) can be attached, for example.

Premium version with additional filter in V2A stainless steel
The set consists of:
- IBC screw cap in DN 150 and DN 225
- IBC lid including connection piece for sealing connection
- HT DN50 pipe and connection fittings with sealing lips
- Pipe length 1m
- with additional inlet filter (stainless steel V2A)
Premium version with additional filter in V2A stainless steel: The set seals completely - no exposed seals that slowly crumble under UV radiation - no hole through which the connection is only pushed. The IBC cover has a 2 1/2" external thread (75.18 mm) on the underside including a removable additional filter (V2A stainless steel). The additional filter consists of a V2A stainless steel mesh and can be easily cleaned under running water.

Tip: If you do not have a lubricant for fitting the HT pipe, simply use a little washing-up liquid or similar.
