Description
PP Y-filter Irritec with drain option and 2-way female threaded connection
Irritec filters provide the best filtration protection for any irrigation system. The different filtration grades range from 75 mesh to 200 mesh and can therefore be used in a wide variety of applications. In domestic garden irrigation, 120 mesh is usually recommended to protect downstream components such as solenoid valves, pop-up sprinklers, gear sprinklers and nozzles from damage and increased wear. Accordingly, the filter housings already contain filter cartridges with a filtration level of 120 mesh as standard.
Another difference is the stainless steel screen filter and disc filter variants. Compared to screen filters, disc filters have a larger filter surface and therefore have a longer maintenance and cleaning interval. This is particularly advantageous for well water with a high sand content or surface water with a lot of organic dirt particles, for example. For cisterns or tanks with less soiling, on the other hand, the screen filter can be used.
- Including filter cartridge stainless steel sieve 120 mesh or disk filter 120 mesh (according to selection)
- Housing made of black polypropylene, UV-stable
- Max. Max. working pressure 10 bar at 20°C medium water
- Drainage via 3/4" external thread incl. end cap
The connection using union nuts with internal thread and partially countersunk sealing O-rings enables the Y-filter to be installed and removed quickly in the pipework.

Flow direction Y-filter
When selecting the screen filter and disc filter variants, the flow direction must be observed. In the case of the disc filter, the housing is rotated or mirrored in comparison to the mesh filter,

The disk filter can be opened by simply turning the wheel ...
