The flexible hose adhesive hose is also known as a flexible pipe. This term is somewhat misleading, as it is of course ideal for bridging a longer distance in your pool project quickly and in one piece with bends - but it does not have the performance data of a fixed pipe.
Important: Unlike most hoses, the outer diameter of the flexible hose is decisive, as it can only be bonded using PVC-U adhesive fittings or connected with PP compression fittings! A connection using hose nozzles is NOT possible!

PVC flexible hose Adhesive hose
The incorporation of a plastic spiral makes it possible to use the hose as a pressure and suction hose. For underground installation, installation in a protective pipe is recommended. The hose is not suitable for continuous pressure, e.g. your domestic water supply, as the hose structure is comparable to a pressure and suction hose and the necessary cross-linking for length stabilization is missing.
The molded-in rigid PVC spiral cannot be pressed on with hose clamps.
- Smooth inner and outer jacket
- Suitable for temperatures from -10°C to max. +45°C with flowing medium
- 3 - 8 bar max. pump pressure - *not for use in closed systems under continuous pressure - cross-linked hoses must be used here.
- Can be bonded with commercially available, high-quality PVC-U adhesive - Tangit PLUS is not suitable!
- Ideal for flexible installation in the ground (in a sand bed)
- Ozone, UV and chlorine resistant, suitable for saltwater pools
- Connection: can be bonded with PVC-U fittings or clamped with PP clamp couplings for flexible hose
The bending radius
The bending radius is a recommendation of how tightly you can lay the hose in a half-bend without the hose kinking or being damaged. This maximum guide value is significantly influenced by the temperature of the environment and the hose itself during installation!
