Flexible PVC Hose – Adhesive Hose Poolflex Spaflex
The flexible adhesive hose, also known as a flexible pipe, is ideal for quickly bridging longer distances in your pool installation with bends and curves in a single piece. However, it should be noted that it does not have the same performance characteristics as a rigid PVC pipe.
Important: Unlike most hoses, the outer diameter is decisive for the Flex Hose, as it can only be glued using PVC-U adhesive fittings or connected with PP compression fittings! A connection using hose nozzles is NOT possible!

Not suitable for closed systems or applications where continuous operating pressure is present – in such cases, cross-linked hoses must be used.
PVC Flexible Adhesive Hose
The integrated plastic spiral allows the hose to be used as both a suction and a pressure hose. For underground installation, we recommend laying the hose inside a protective conduit. It is not suitable for permanent pressure applications, such as domestic water supply, since the hose structure lacks the necessary cross-linking for long-term dimensional stability.
The embedded rigid PVC spiral cannot be clamped with hose clips.

- Suitable for temperatures from -10°C to max. +45°C with flowing media
- 3–8 bar maximum pump pressure – *not suitable for closed systems under continuous pressure; cross-linked hoses must be used in such cases
- Bondable with standard, high-quality PVC-U adhesives – Tangit PLUS is not suitable!
- Ideal for flexible underground installation (in a sand bed)
- Resistant to ozone, UV, and chlorine; suitable for saltwater pools
- Connection: can be bonded with PVC-U fittings or clamped with PP compression couplings for flexible hose
The Bending Radius
The bending radius is a recommendation indicating how tightly the hose can be laid in a half-circle without kinking or being damaged. This maximum guideline is significantly influenced by the ambient temperature and the hose’s own temperature during installation.
