Description
Stainless Steel V4A Pressfitting 3-Piece Ball Valve with Full Flow
Both Sides Press Fitting
- Suitable for water, oil, steam, and corrosive media without solid particles
- No welding, soldering, clamping, or gluing required
- The press method allows for a quick and cold irreversible, tensile pipe connection
- For the installation of potable water, drinking water, fire extinguishing systems, compressed air, shipbuilding, agriculture, and industrial applications
- Usable with sealing ring made of FPM for oils
Stainless Steel (according to EN 10020) refers to alloyed or unalloyed steels with a special level of purity. Steels whose sulfur and phosphorus content (called iron companions) does not exceed 0.025%.
The 316 alloy is a standard steel type with molybdenum. Molybdenum gives the 316 alloy better corrosion resistance than 304, especially a higher resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride-containing media. The austenitic structure gives this alloy a high degree of toughness, even at low temperatures, as well as high creep resistance, long-term strength, and tensile strength at elevated temperatures. This alloy is commonly known as V4A Stainless Steel.
Stainless Steel AISI 316 | Material 1.4401 (X5CrNiMo17-12-2) (V4A) Application: According to DVGW Working Paper W541 (basis for the requirements for non-corrosive steel pipes for drinking water installations), the steel material 1.4401 is most commonly used.
It is used in a wide variety of applications in the chemical, petrochemical, and natural gas industries, food industries, corrosive environments, and extreme temperatures ... fluid technology, boilers, condensers, heat exchangers, reactors ...
