PVC-U Transition Female Socket – Inserted into a Socket
The PVC-U transition female socket has two bonding dimensions opposite the internal thread. The outer (larger) dimension corresponds to the male socket size, allowing the fitting to be glued into a matching female socket to create a threaded connection.
PVC-U Transition Female Socket – Over Male Socket or Pipe
This version allows PVC-U adhesive pipes or fittings with a matching male socket dimension to be provided with a female thread. The male socket or pipe matches the internal dimension (female socket) of the PVC-U transition fitting.
