IBC container lid, closed

Screw lid with vent valve (G2"): The lid with integrated vent valve is not suitable for venting IBCs when collecting rainwater. This venting valve serves as compensation, e.g. when warm/hot liquids are filled in the chemical industry. Use our special covers for venting rainwater storage tanks for this purpose. If the vent valve is unscrewed, a connection fitting, for example, can be screwed into the 2" thread. The vent valve is protected by a red, removable dust cap.
Screw cap with G2" opening: The cap has two openings, each with a G2" thread. These openings are each sealed with a bung plug. Ideal for use as an inlet and vent connection at the same time.

IBC tank lid Screw cap DN150 or DN225 Lid opening

As with the butterfly valve opening, a coarse thread type "S" is used for the lid dimensions. The standard lid openings are DN150 and DN225. The DN150 cover has a dimension of S165*7 and corresponds approximately to a width of 163mm. The larger DN225 cover has a dimension of S245*6; this results in an approximate width of 242mm.

In addition to these two standard nominal widths, there are also IBC tanks with a so-called "manhole" opening with a lid opening of 400mm. However, this lid is fitted with a clamping ring and is therefore not approved for hazardous goods.
