PVC-U Übergangsmuffe, Klebestutzen/-muffe x Innengewinde

Die Bezeichnung Übergangsmuffe ist der Übergang von Klebestutzen/Klebemuffe auf ein Innengewinde.

Die Klebeseite der PVC-U Übergangsmuffe kann zweifach eingesetzt werden: als Stutzen, hier wird das Aussenmaß genutzt um diesen Fitting in eine Klebemuffe einzukleben oder als Klebemuffe. Hier kann ein PVC-U Rohr oder ein Stutzen mit dementsprechendem Aussenmaß eingeklebt werden.

Der gängige Gewindetyp in der Sanitärbranche ist das BSP G Gewinde (Whitworth-Rohrgewinde). Somit sind theoretisch alle PVC-U Gewindefittings mit Gewindefittings aus anderen Materialien wie Messing, Edelstahl oder Polypropylen (PP) kompatibel.
Gewinde dieses Typs sind nicht selbstdichtend und benötigen ein geeignetes Gewindedichtmaterial wie z.B. Teflonband.

Die PVC-U Übergangsmuffe ist mit einem Sechskant ausgestattet, welcher eine einfache Verschraubung mithilfe eines Schraubenschlüssels ermöglich.

PVC-U Transition Female Socket – Inserted into a Socket

The PVC-U transition female socket features two bonding dimensions opposite the internal thread. The outer (larger) dimension corresponds to the male socket size, allowing the fitting to be glued into a matching female socket to create a reinforced female thread connection.

PVC-U Transition Female Socket – Over Male Socket or Pipe

This version allows PVC-U adhesive pipes or fittings with a matching male socket dimension to be provided with a reinforced female thread. The male socket or pipe matches the inner dimension (female socket) of the PVC-U transition fitting.
